Crewing and Club Boats If you don't have your own boat there are a number of alternatives that would enable you to sail in Club events. There are often crewing positions available on Sunday afternoons with Club members who have their own boats. The best way to get a crewing position is to come to the Club by 11:30am on a racing Sunday and ask the Duty Officer or Rear Commodore to notify members of your availability at the race briefing. There are also club-owned Pacers and Sabres available for hire. Boat Hire if you don't have your own boat, BYC owns a fleet of Pacers (two person mono-hull dinghies) and Minnows (a junior single person mono-hull dinghy) used for sail training programs.
